Design Tools, AI Integration & the Tiled MCP

How Tiled works with your existing design tools, and where AI fits in the Tiled workflow today and on the roadmap

Overview

Tiled is design-tool agnostic. Your team brings content from the tools they already use, and Tiled adds the interactive, personalized, and measurable layer on top. The Tiled MCP server, expected later this summer, brings AI-native workflow integration to the platform.

Design Tools

Your team designs in the tool they already use, imports into Tiled, then adds interactivity, personalization, and sharing. Tiled works with all major design and content tools:

Figma

Frames import directly via the Figma plugin or file export. Figma is the most common design source for Tiled customers.

Adobe XD and InDesign

XD artboards and InDesign layouts import into Tiled.

Canva

Files exported from Canva import into Tiled.

PowerPoint and Google Slides

Slide decks import into Tiled. Each slide becomes a Tiled page.

PDF

PDF pages import as image tiles, one per page.

Tiled does not replace your design tool. It adds navigation logic, scroll interactions, personalization fields, analytics, and sharing on top of whatever your team already has.

AI Integration: Where Tiled Is Today

While generative AI content is not yet part of the current platform, we are launching our MCP server to ensure AI efficiencies are a key value pillar of our product. Tiled does use AI in our product for a number of things, but the core value is personalizing governed content through your preferred AI tool.  Tiled serves customers in regulated industries where AI content policies are still evolving. Tiled's focus is on AI workflow integration, not yet content generation.

The Tiled MCP Server

Tiled is building an MCP server that connects the platform to AI agents. When available, Account Executives stay in Salesforce Agentforce, Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or whichever AI surface their organization uses. The AI agent handles the Tiled workflow on their behalf. The MCP server is expected later this summer and plans to support approximately 30 developer-environment tools at launch.

Note: The Tiled MCP server is not yet generally available. The capabilities described below represent the intended workflow once the MCP server ships. No firm release date is committed here.
 

Personalization via AI

The AI agent reads the Salesforce opportunity record and populates presentation fields automatically. The seller stays in the AI tool.

Sharing via AI

A natural language request triggers the AI agent to generate a share link and send it to the buyer.

Insights via AI

A seller asks their AI assistant which pages the buyer spent time on and gets the answer from Tiled engagement data.

Planned AI surfaces

Salesforce Agentforce, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, and other surfaces that support MCP integration.

The Full Workflow This Makes Possible

This is the end-to-end workflow the Tiled MCP server is designed to deliver:

9. An Account Executive opens their AI assistant: Agentforce, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar.

10. The AI agent creates a personalized Tiled presentation, pulling customer data from Salesforce: account name, products of interest, industry context, and pricing from CPQ.

11. Product information pages for the specific products being quoted are included automatically.

12. The AI agent generates a share link and sends it to the buyer.

13. After the buyer opens the presentation, the AI agent surfaces engagement insights: which pages they viewed, whether they returned, and what the recommended next action is.

14. A call-to-action at the end of the presentation links to the CPQ quote for signature.

Note: Assembling product pages from CPQ data still requires manual steps today. Automating it is one of the core use cases the Tiled MCP server is built for.

Some manual steps are required today. When available, the Tiled MCP server automates this by pulling product data from Salesforce and assembling the relevant pages.
