Getting Started
To add text directly to your microapp page, you have to use a Text tile.
To start utilizing a Text tile navigate to the desired page of your microapp in the Microapp Builder.
Drag a Text tile ( ) from the tile panel to the desired location on the page, where you can resize it to your specification or needs.
Once placed, enter the desired characters in the Text field of the Text settings. The entered characters are displayed in the Text Tile on your microapp page.
Text Tile Settings
The text settings allow you to configure the following options for the characters in the Text Tile.
Note: The settings you configure in the Text settings affect all of the characters in the Text Tile. You cannot specify settings for a select group of characters.
- Change the text color
- To change the color of the characters in the Text Tile, click the color bar and select the desired color. Default is black.
- Change the font
- To change the font for the characters in the Text Tile, click the Font family drop-down list and select the desired font. Default is Arial.
- To search for a specific font, click within the Font family text box.
- Note: Clicking within the Font family text box will also display a list of current fonts in use in the microapp.
- Note: The list of fonts displayed are from the Google Font library
Note: When using text tiles, the system will remember the last font you used during the session
- Change the size
- To change the size of the characters in the Text Tile, enter the desired font size in the Font size field. Default size is 84.
- Change the weight
- To change the weight of the characters in the Text Tile, click the Font weight drop-down list, and select the desired weight. Default is normal.
- Change the horizontal alignment
- To change the alignment of the characters in the Text Tile, click the Text align drop-down list, and select the desired alignment:
- left (default)
- center
- right
- Change the vertical alignment
- To change the vertical alignment of the characters in the Text Tile, click the Vertical Text align drop-down list, and select the desired alignment:
- top (default)
- middle
- bottom
