How to Find Assets in the Asset Library

Overview

As an asset library grows, finding the right file becomes the slowest part of building. The asset library gives you several ways to narrow things down before you commit an asset to a tile:

• Preview — confirm you have the right file before inserting it.

• Folder search — jump to what you need instead of scrolling through folders.

• Persistent sort — your chosen sort order is remembered between visits.

• Tag filtering — narrow assets by tag, if tagging is enabled for your account.

Preview an Asset Before Inserting It

Previewing lets you check an asset without inserting it into a tile and undoing if it's wrong.

1. Open the asset library or asset picker.

2. Locate the asset you're considering.

3. Preview the asset to confirm it's the file you want.

4. Insert it into your tile once you've confirmed.

Tip: Previewing is especially useful with similarly named files — several exports of the same image, or variants that differ only by crop or color.

Search Asset Folders

Asset folder search helps you get to the right folder directly rather than browsing the whole structure.

1. Open the asset library.

2. Use the folder search to find the folder you're looking for.

3. Open the folder and select your asset.

Sort Order Is Remembered

When you set a sort order in the asset library, that choice persists — you don't have to re-apply it each time you come back. Set the sort that matches how you work (for example, newest first while actively adding assets) and it stays put.

Filter by Tag

Common Questions

Does previewing an asset change anything in my microapp?

No — previewing is read-only. Nothing is inserted or modified until you actively insert the asset into a tile.

My sort order used to reset — is that still the case?

No — your sort selection is now remembered rather than resetting each time you return to the asset library.

I don't see a tag filter — what should I check?

Tag filtering only appears if asset tagging is enabled for your account, and only helps once assets actually have tags applied. Check with your Administrator if you expect it to be available.
