The Layers tab can be accessed in the right-hand panel next to the Assets tab. The Layers tab offers users a way to manipulate different tiles on the canvas without negatively affecting others. Often times, you may have a tile you need to adjust configuration for, but it is hiding behind another tile. The Layers tab is an easy way to make those configuration adjustments without adjusting your designs.
In the Layers tab you will see a list off all the tiles in layer order from front to back. (In the below example the hotspot is above both of the image tiles, which is why it appears at the top of the layers list.)
NOTE Page backgrounds that are set will not appear in the layers panel
Layer Actions
- To reorder layers, grab a layer and drag it above or below the other layers.
- This action will ensure the layer has moved in front or behind the desired layer
- To hide a layer, hover over the layer until the hide icon appears and click it.
- This action will hide the layer from the canvas
- This action will display the layer as disabled in the Layers tab
- To delete a layer, select the layer and use the DEL key.
- This action will delete the layer from the layers tab view and the canvas
