How to Use the Unified Share Form in Tiled

This guide explains the updated share experience in Tiled — a single, consistent share form available from every entry point, with updated HubSpot settings and a restored hide-loader option for embedded shares.

Overview

Previously, sharing a microapp from different places — the Builder, the Library, or a direct share action — could open different UIs with different options available. The share form is now unified: every share entry point opens the same form with the full set of configuration options available.

What's Available in the Share Form

Regardless of where you initiate a share, the following options are now consistently available:

Email gating Require recipients to enter their email address before accessing the microapp
Password protection Restrict access to recipients who enter the correct password
Hide loader Suppress the loading indicator for embedded shares (see below)
HubSpot form integration Connect a HubSpot form to the share link for data capture

How to Share a Microapp

  1. Open the microapp from the Builder or the Library.
  2. Click Share — from any entry point, the same unified share form opens.
  3. Configure your share options as needed.
  4. Copy or send the share link.

Hide Loader for Embedded Shares

The Hide loader option is available in the share form for embedded microapp shares. When enabled, the loading indicator is suppressed when the microapp is displayed in a third-party web page, allowing the content to appear directly when it's ready.

Setting What viewers see
Hide loader off (default) A loading indicator appears while the embedded microapp loads
Hide loader on No loading indicator — the microapp renders directly when content is ready. Viewers may see a brief blank frame while the microapp loads.

Note: Hiding the loader does not affect load time — it only changes what viewers see during loading. For embedded microapps with large assets, consider whether a brief blank frame is preferable to the default loading indicator.

HubSpot Integration Settings

The HubSpot integration settings panel in Library Administration has been updated for improved clarity. If you're configuring HubSpot form IDs for share links, you'll find the setup workflow more straightforward in the updated panel.

Note: The HubSpot integration sends engagement and form data to your connected HubSpot account. Tiled transmits only the data fields you configure — no additional personal data is sent without explicit configuration. Ensure your HubSpot Data Processing Agreement covers this use case before enabling the integration.

I used to share from the Builder and had fewer options than when sharing from the Library — is that still the case?
No — the share form is now unified. The same full set of options is available regardless of where you initiate a share.

Is the hide-loader option available for all share types or only embedded shares?
