[v61.0.1](https://support.tiled.co/new-releases#v61-0-1) # Using the Share Form ## Every way of sharing a microapp in Tiled — from the Library, the Builder, or the Viewer — opens the same share form, with the same options. This article walks through what the form contains, which options apply to which kind of share, and how the form relates to the sharing settings on your account and microapps. ### **Opening the Share Form** | **Starting From** | **How** | | --- | --- | | **The Library** | Select the share icon below the microapp. | | **The Viewer** | Open the microapp and select Share in the top-right corner. | | **The Builder** | Select Share. | Wherever you start, the form and its options are identical. Each tab creates a different kind of link: | **Tab** | **Use It When** | **Recipient Identified?** | | --- | --- | --- | | **Direct** | You’re sending to a specific person by email. Tiled sends the email for you. | Yes, by name and email. | | **Public** | You want one open link for broad distribution, or an embed code for a website. | No, unless you require an email. | | **SubTag** | You’re sending through a connected marketing tool that fills in each recipient. | Yes, from the marketing tool. | | **Internal** | You’re sharing the microapp into another library on your account. | Not applicable. | ### **Options in the Form** | **Option** | **What It Does** | **Applies To** | | --- | --- | --- | | **Email gating** | Asks viewers to enter an email address before the microapp opens. Addresses aren’t verified. | Share links | | **Password protection** | Viewers must enter the password you set. | Share links | | **Hide loader** | Hides the loading page while the microapp loads. | Embed links | | **HubSpot form** | Connects a HubSpot form to the link to capture viewer data. | Share links, where HubSpot is set up | | **Link to current microapp page** | Opens the link on the page you’re currently viewing instead of the first screen. | Direct, Public, SubTag | | **Allow direct replies to my email** | Sends recipients’ email replies to you. To confirm a viewer really controls the address, use verified email sharing, which restricts access to specific emails or domains and sends a one-time passcode. See Restricting Share Links to Verified Emails. | | --- | ### **Hiding the Loading Page on Embeds** When you create an Embed link (Public → Embed), you can turn on Hide loader so the microapp appears directly in your page without a loading screen. | **Setting** | **What Viewers See** | | --- | --- | | **Off (default)** | A loading page while the microapp loads. | | **On** | No loading page. Viewers may see a brief blank frame until the content is ready. | Hiding the loader doesn’t make the microapp load any faster — it only changes what viewers see while it loads. For microapps with large images or videos, a blank frame can look more broken than a loading page, so test before you publish.[![Share Form Callouts-5-hide-loader-on-embeds](https://support.tiled.co/hs-fs/hubfs/Share%20Form%20Callouts-5-hide-loader-on-embeds.png?width=670&height=431&name=Share%20Form%20Callouts-5-hide-loader-on-embeds.png)](https://support.tiled.co/hubfs/Share%20Form%20Callouts-5-hide-loader-on-embeds.png) | **Pro Tip:** For a regular share link, add ?hideLoader=true to the end of the URL to get the same behavior. | | --- | ### **Linking to a Specific Page** 1\. **Open the microapp in the Viewer** — and go to the page, state, or overlay you want. 2\. **Open the share form** — and choose Direct, Public, or SubTag. 3\. **Check Link to current microapp page.** — The link now opens where you are. 4\. **Copy or send the link.** — Without the checkbox, the link opens at the first screen. The form IDs are set up in your library’s integration settings; see How to connect Tiled to HubSpot for the full setup. | **Note:** The integration sends only the data fields you configure. They don’t change links or microapps that already exist. | | --- | | **Try It Yourself:** Share a test microapp to yourself as a Public link with email gating on, then again as a Direct link with password protection. Open both in a private browser window to see what each recipient experiences. | ### **Common Questions** | **Question** | **Answer** | | --- | --- | | **Do I get different options depending on where I share from?** | No. The Library, the Builder, and the Viewer all open the same form with the same options. | | **Can I hide the loading page on a regular share link?** | Not from the form — Hide loader appears only for Embed links. You can add ?hideLoader=true to the end of any share link URL instead. | | **What’s the difference between email gating and verified email sharing?** | Email gating asks for any email address. Verified email sharing restricts access to specific emails or domains and confirms them with a one-time passcode. | | **Why doesn’t my link open on the page I was viewing?** | Check that Link to current microapp page was selected, and that you opened the form from the page you wanted. | | **Where do I set up HubSpot?** | In your library’s integration settings.
