Stock Assets Now Available to All Editors

Editors no longer need Library Administrator access to browse and insert stock photos and stock videos in the Builder. All editors can now access these assets directly from the asset picker.

What Changed

Previously, selecting stock assets from Pexels required Library Administrator permissions. This restriction has been lifted — any user with Editor access can now browse and insert stock assets when building microapps.

No configuration changes are required. If you're an Editor and previously couldn't access stock assets in the asset picker, this access is now available automatically.

How to Access Stock Assets

1. Open a microapp in the Builder.

2. Select or add an image or video tile.

3. Open the asset picker.

4. Navigate to the Stock Assets tab to browse Pexels.

5. Click any asset to insert it into the selected tile.

Common Questions

I'm an Editor and still don't see the Stock Assets tab — what should I check?

Confirm that stock asset access is enabled for your library. If the tab still doesn't appear after confirming, contact your Library Administrator.

Does this change affect what Library Administrators can do?

No — this change only expands access for Editors. Library Administrator capabilities are unchanged.
