Bug Fix Bulletin — v55.0.1 December 2025

The following issues were identified and resolved in the December 2025 Tiled release. If you were experiencing any of the behaviors described below, they are now fixed. No action is required on your end.

Import & Export

Broken image or video tiles after reimporting a microapp
Asset references inside exported microapp packages were not resolving correctly on reimport in certain configurations, causing image and video tiles to appear broken after import. Asset references are now resolved correctly through the full export and import process.

Imported microapps showing a blank thumbnail in the Library
Microapp cover images were not being included in exported packages, so reimported microapps appeared with a blank or default thumbnail in the Library. Cover images are now included in all export packages.

Personalization

Personalized text tiles reformatting unexpectedly when a share link is opened
Personalized text tiles were triggering an auto-resize calculation when a share link was opened, causing the tile to reformat in ways the creator did not intend. This auto-resize behavior on share links has been corrected.

Multi-line personalized text collapsing to a single line on share links
Personalized text tiles using multi-line text with custom line height were collapsing to a single line when viewed via a share link. Personalized text rendering on share links now matches what is shown in the Viewer.

Share Links

Password-protected share links not consistently enforcing the password gate
Password-protected share links were not reliably prompting for a password in certain browser configurations, allowing access without authentication in some cases. Password gate enforcement has been hardened and now applies consistently across all supported browsers and session states.

Builder 2.0 — Hover & Hotspot

Hover effect preview overflowing the tile boundary in Builder 2.0
Hover effect animations in Builder 2.0 were visually overflowing the tile's bounding box during preview in the Builder. Hover previews are now clipped to the tile boundary, matching how they appear in the Viewer.

Multi-target hotspot tile previews were rendering larger than the tile's configured interactive area in the Builder canvas. Hotspot previews are now correctly constrained to the tile boundary in the Builder.
