Defect & Feature Request Log

1. Purpose & Scope

This log consolidates every defect and feature request raised across all three Breakout Rooms during the December 2025 release testing session. It serves as the formal evidence record for SOC 2 CC7.4 (incident response) and CC4.2 (deficiency evaluation), confirming that issues were identified, assigned, and tracked before the production release.

This allows invalid or empty URLs to be saved, putting the personalized image tile into a broken state. Fix required before release or must be tracked as a known limitation.
Defect	Multi-Hotspot Tile	Kevin	TD-6313 — Done (Production)	Multi-target hotspot tiles have a minimum height constraint in the Builder, causing them to appear taller than their configured tile boundary. In Viewer and Preview, tiles correctly respect their configured dimensions. TD-6313 is resolved. Aiming for December release — potential hotfix candidate.
Defect	Layers Panel — Hide Tile	Cody	TD-6097 — Done (Production). Follow-up: TD-6321	Hiding a tile via the Layers panel deselected the tile and cleared its properties from the panel. Expected behavior: hiding should keep the tile selected and its properties visible. TD-6097 is resolved and awaiting cherry-pick into the December release. TD-6321 filed as a follow-up item.
Defect	Rich Text — iOS Native	Chris	TD-6317 — Define (Ready for Dev)	Rich text tiles on iOS native display incorrect padding and line height. Text appears compressed or expanded versus the web Viewer. TD-6317 tracks this issue. Related prior issue TD-5881 was previously resolved; TD-6317 captures the remaining text rendering gap.
Defect	Text Cut-Off — iOS Native	Sterling	TD-6317 — Define (Ready for Dev)	Text is being cut off at tile boundaries in the Pitch Deck New Build microapp on iOS native (preprod Demos category). Consistent with TD-6317 line height defect. Tracked under the same ticket.
Defect	Custom Font — iOS Native	Chase	None — not December-related	Druk Bold custom font not loading in iOS production native app — renders as Arial. Font loads correctly on preprod and the web Hub. Confirmed not related to December release changes. No action required for this release cycle.
Defect	Video — iOS Native	Sterling	None — needs reproduction	Video tile blurry on playback; embedded video not displaying in Seismic pitch deck microapp on iOS. Reproduction details (microapp link or .tiled file) needed before a ticket can be filed.
Request	Text & Image Tile	Jess	None — backlog candidate	Toggling a tile from static to personalized clears all content and formatting. Request: retain formatting (font, size, color) and clear only the content value. Product note: current limitation exists due to text styles requiring content to be present before styles can be applied.
Request	Required Field Visibility	Jess	None — backlog candidate	Creators cannot see the personalization state of required fields without hovering over each asset individually. Request: surface inline field-state indicators in the Builder, similar to the Viewer experience. Raised to Manaleage and Kyle Blackman.
Request	Tile Dimensions — Wide Canvas	Cody	None — under review	In a 1920x1080 canvas, newly created tiles do not default to filling the canvas width. Builder shows adaptive 2x values that do not match the microapp canvas. Request: align tile creation default dimensions to actual canvas size. Under review by Manaleage and Kyle Blackman.
Request	Personalized Tile Duplication	Jess	None — acknowledged	Duplicating a personalized tile links both tiles to the same personalization field and they cannot be renamed independently without dragging a new tile. Product note: creating a new personalization field on the duplicate preserves formatting. Format loss only occurs if the field is deleted or the tile is toggled static ↔ personalized.

3. Cherry-Pick & Hotfix Candidates

The following items require release management action before or at the December production release cut:

TD-6097 — Hide Tile Deselects (Resolved)	Awaiting cherry-pick into the December release branch. James Gentry to action. Branch: personal/CodyBrooks/TD-6097Connect.
TD-6313 — Multi-Hotspot Overflow (Resolved)	Targeting December release. Potential hotfix candidate if not included in the main release build.
TD-6321 — Hide Tile Follow-up	Follow-up item to TD-6097. Review scope before December release cut.

4. Items Requiring Jira Tickets Before Release

The following issues were raised during testing but did not have Jira tickets at the time of filing. A ticket must be created before each item can enter the development queue:

Personalized Image tile — URL default enables Save without valid URL (Kevin).
Custom Font (Druk Bold) not loading on iOS production native — confirmed non-December but should be tracked (Chase).
Video blurry/missing on iOS — needs reproduction details from Sterling before ticket can be filed.
Feature requests from Jess (3 items) — require product triage with Manaleage before backlog entry.
Canvas tile dimension request from Cody — requires product decision from Manaleage and Kyle Blackman.
