Manage Direct Share Replies

Direct Share replies are email replies from recipients who have received a direct share link to a microapp from you. You have the ability to manage where these replies will go from the share modal.

How do I make sure I receive replies to direct share links I send?

  1. Select the share icon below a microapp to open the share modal. You will see an option in the Direct share modal to Allow direct replies to my email. This option is preselected by default.
  2. Enter an email and/or message to send your direct share link to.
  3. Send email.

Recipients will see the following From and Reply-to email details displayed:

  • [Tiled user's name] via [account name]
  • [Tiled user's email]

(i.e., Jane via Tiled <Jane@tiled.co>)

Direct replies will be sent to the email listed in your profile. 

How do I make sure I do not receive replies to direct share links I sent?

  1. When sharing a microapp, deselect the option in the share modal to Allow direct replies to my email.
  2. Enter an email and/or message to share your microapp with.
  3. Send email.
  • Recipients will see the following From and Reply-to email details displayed:

    • [Tiled user's name] via [account name]
    • [account reply-to email]

    (i.e., Jane via Tiled <hello@tiled.co>)

How do I make sure direct replies go to the Account Settings reply-to email? 

  1. Make sure your company account has the reply-to email address configured in Account Settings.
  2. Deselect the Allow direct replies to my email option
  3. Send email.

Replies will be directed to the email configured in the reply-to Email address field in Account Settings.

In this scenario, Admins who do not have the reply-to 'Email address' field configured, will have replies sent to a Tiled no-reply inbox.
