When you rotate your phone or tablet while viewing a microapp in a mobile browser, Tiled doesn’t reload anything. You stay where you are, and if a format that fits the new orientation better exists, a banner offers to load it. ### **What Happens When You Rotate** | **Situation** | **What Happens** | | --- | --- | | **Viewing a page** | You stay on the same page. The microapp doesn’t reload. If a better-fitting format exists, the reload banner appears. | | **Watching a video** | The video keeps playing. If a better-fitting format exists, the reload banner appears. | | **Watching a video in fullscreen** | The video keeps playing in fullscreen. Nothing reloads. • **Refresh your browser** — at any time, to load the best format for how you’re holding your device. Reloading loads the microapp again, so the video won’t continue from where it was. | | --- | ### **For Creators: Giving Viewers the Right Format** Viewers only see the banner if you’ve built a format for the orientation they rotate to. You’ll see exactly what your viewers see, including when the banner appears. | | --- | ### **Common Questions** | **Question** | **Answer** | | --- | --- | | **I rotated my phone and the layout didn’t change. Why?** | Rotating doesn’t reload the microapp. If a better-fitting format exists, tap the banner or refresh your browser.
