What is Tiled?

Tiled is an interactive content platform. It gives teams a no-code way to create, share, and track engaging digital experiences — called microapps — with built-in analytics that show exactly how viewers engage with every page.

Unlike a static PDF or slide deck, a microapp is interactive, non-linear, and measurable. You can see who opened it, which pages they spent the most time on, when they came back, and what they clicked. That data is available the moment you share.

Building in Tiled: Builder 2.0

Microapps are created in the Tiled Builder. If you're starting fresh, you'll be building in Builder 2.0 — the current version of the Builder, with a redesigned canvas, Tile Grouping, a dedicated Personalization mode, and the newest tile types. It's the recommended starting point for anyone new to Tiled.

If your account has existing microapps built before Builder 2.0 launched, they continue to work exactly as they always have in Builder 1.0. Nothing is being taken away, and there's no forced migration — both versions are fully supported side by side.

What Is a Microapp?

A microapp is an interactive digital asset that lives in Tiled. Think of it as a mini web experience — it can contain images, videos, galleries, quizzes, scroll sections, embedded content, and custom navigation, all in one shareable link. Microapps are a great fit for:

• Sales decks and leave-behinds that tell a story and track buyer engagement.

• Marketing experiences that let prospects explore content at their own pace.

• Internal enablement content that gives teams an interactive reference to come back to.

•Personalized microsites where each recipient sees content tailored to them.

Pro Tip: The best microapps are built around one clear goal. Before you open the Builder, answer two questions: what do I want the viewer to do, and how will I know if they did it?

What Software Do You Need?

Tiled is a browser-based web application, which means there is nothing to install or update. Open any modern browser, log in at app.tiled.co, and you’re in.

Heads Up: Some older or unsupported browsers may not render microapps correctly. If a viewer reports a display issue, ask them to try Chrome or Firefox first.

How Secure Is Tiled?

What Else You Should Know

Do my viewers need a Tiled account?	No. Viewers access shared microapps via a link with no login required, unless your team has enabled access restrictions such as Require a Tiled Account or Password Protection.
Can I use Tiled on mobile?	Yes. The Tiled mobile app is available for iOS and Android. Viewers can also open shared microapps in a mobile browser without the app.
Is Tiled always up to date?	Yes. Because Tiled runs in the browser, improvements and new features are available automatically. There is no version to download.
