What happens when I am viewing a microapp on a mobile browser and rotate?

If you are viewing a microapp and decide to rotate your device, you will stay where you left off in your microapp. You may see a banner asking you to refresh for a more optimal experience if there is a better adaptive format based on the size and position of your device. Your browser will not refresh and your microapp will not reload automatically.

How can I make sure I am receiving the most optimal adaptive format created when I rotate my device? 

Microapps automatically detect when your device position has changed and whether a more optimal adaptive format is available. A banner will appear asking if you would like to load a more optimal version of the microapp, so your experience is never disrupted.

What can I do if I see the reload banner?

You have the following options when you see the reload banner:

• Tap the banner to reload the microapp and apply the more optimal adaptive format.
• Dismiss the banner to stay on the current version without any reload or page refresh.
• Manually refresh the browser at any time to apply the optimal format.

What can I expect when rotating in my device in the middle of a video?

The video will continue to play uninterrupted. If a more optimal adaptive format is available, you will also see the reload banner.

What can I expect when rotating my device in the middle of a video in fullscreen mode?

The video will continue to play in fullscreen. After exiting fullscreen, if a more optimal adaptive format is available, the reload banner will appear.

What happens if I rotate again without interacting with the banner?

If you rotate back without interacting with the banner and you are already in the most optimal adaptive format, the banner will disappear.
