[Account Settings](https://support.tiled.co/settings#account-settings) # Custom Microapp Templates To set up custom microapp templates in your Tiled account, create a template library, assign it in Account Settings, and publish microapps to it. You must be an account Admin to complete this setup. Custom templates give your users the ability to create interactive content from pre-designed microapp templates without starting from scratch. As you transform more static content into interactive experiences, your microapp template library grows with it. Follow these three steps: 1. [Publish Microapps to the Template Library](https://support.tiled.co/custom-microapp-templates#publish) ## Create a template library We recommend [creating a Library](https://support.tiled.co/hc/en-us/articles/6178541853715) that is specifically intended for templates and giving it a name like, "Template Library". To create it, follow these steps: 1. Navigate to **Account Settings** (the wrench icon). 2. Click **Libraries** in the left sidebar. 3. Click **Create Library**, enter a name (e.g., "Template Library"), and save. Users do not have to have access to this library to see the templates from the create a microapp modal if the microapp is correctly published. ## Assign the template library 1. Click on the dropdown under **Set template library** and choose which library you want to be the template library. Any microapps that meet the template requirements (see below) will automatically show up in the template modal when your users click the new Microapp button. ![](https://support.tiled.co/hubfs/Knowledge%20Base%20Import/16924138426131.png) *NOTE: You can change template library at any time or simply select **None** to hide the template library.* ### Publish Microapps to the template library Once you have set a template library, any microapps that meet the template requirements will become available to your Tiled editors and Admins to use. The microapp template requirements are: - One adaptive format of the microapp must be published. - The microapp can not be archived. - The microapp is associated with a [Design File](https://support.tiled.co/hc/en-us/articles/9888570223891-Microapp-Settings-General) It is [best practice to tag](https://support.tiled.co/hc/en-us/articles/17125848232851) your template microapps appropriately so that your users can find them more easily. ### Creating a Microapp from a template Once your template library is set and microapps published, your Tiled team members will be able to immediately use any valid microapps using the [create a microapp modal](https://support.tiled.co/hc/en-us/articles/12700187010835-Create-a-microapp-from-a-template). -
